Car Aircon Re-gas

An aircon regas is simply the topping up of refrigerant in the air conditioning system. The process of re-gassing the AC is much like topping up with oil. If the coolant in the system is really low the refrigerant which is still in the system will have to be drained out and replaced with fresh coolant.

I arrived at Coolco without making an appointment (in hindsight, I should've checked, and done so) but they did not hesitate or turn me away.   • I searched for the top rated aircon guys after a shocker of a previous experience at another 'leading' business in Bellville. I browsed through Coolco's reviews and got the impression that this was a great company - and they did not disappoint. John and his crew were all super helpful, checking my Honda upon arrival. Ultimately a faulty valve and dirty cabin air filter was all that needed replacement, not the compressor as I was previously led to believe. I already sent my father-in-law over there to make use of their services and he had the same comments. Forget the rare 1 star ratings. You will always get people that are impossible to please. I was very satisfied with the service and advice. Thanks!

  • When the Cannings workshop recommended Coolco, I knew I would not be disappointed. Without an appointment my Audi's aircon was fixed and re-gassed within an hour. Professional, fast service at a fair price. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

  • Went to Coolco early on a Saturday morning (without an appointment) to get a second opinion. The company my mechanic used said the system wouldn't hold gas as the condenser was leaking but I was suspicious as it was working perfectly before the engine was rebuilt. The team at Coolco filled it, confirmed there were no big leaks and the system was holding pressure. Said to come back in 2-3 weeks to see if there are any small leaks. They are honest people not looking to make a quick buck.

  • Amazing. Professional service. The staff are efficient and knowledgeable. If you taking your car in for aircon make sure you book in advance as they are extremely busy and only take bookings no walk ins.
