What a gem of a place !.. I had been quoted R13150 by another company, took the car to Coolco for a second opinion..it was put right in 2 hours (even after collecting a part) and fully working for R2500 ...It was obvious the way they all dealt with us and the other customers, this is a very genuine, caring operation that wants to save you money and hassle. I just wish there were more of these companies rather than the first one I encountered !.. Jason did an amazing job, many thanks to you and your team :-)

Took my car to be regassed before shipping to Europe. Had to take it back a few weeks later because the aircon did not cool and was told there was nothing wrong with the gas but that additional parts had to be ordered. Once these were fitted by the dealer, the aircon still did not cool properly. Car arrived here last week and I am now having to look for someone in Italy today to do the job properly. Update. Land Rover dealership in Italy confirmed that there was no gas in the system - it cost R3500.00 to get this sorted. The response from Coolco is just a bunch of porky pies.

Absolutely fantastic place to sort out car aircon problems. These people were honest, knowledgeable and genuine - there to resolve your issue timeously and properly. The cost was fair & reasonable, and certainly less than what I expected to pay. These guys want to do the job properly; they want to fix the problem, and are not there to pull the wool over your eyes - so unlike what has come to be expected of others in this trade - these guys can be trusted from beginning to end.

Coolco saved me thousands of rands by taking the time and effort to assess the real problem with the air conditioning of my Fiat 500, where I otherwise would have had to replace the entire system. Went to Coolco early on a Saturday morning (without an appointment) to get a second opinion. The company my mechanic used said the system wouldn't hold gas as the condenser was leaking but I was suspicious as it was working perfectly before the engine was rebuilt. The team at Coolco filled it, confirmed there were no big leaks and the system was holding pressure. Said to come back in 2-3 weeks to see if there are any small leaks. They are honest people not looking to make a quick buck.

I cannot recommend John and his team highly enough! They are knowledgeable, the epitome of professional, and just the loveliest people to deal with! Thank you John & Jason for going to such great lengths to find the fault in my aircon – I really appreciate it!
